For most people today, life moves on a very fast and hectic road. Sometimes, it feels like walking a tight rope in a circus act, separated from the crowd and all alone. Don't suffer in silence as a result -- you are not alone.

A 'Little' History
In the early 1990s, before the Internet and personal computers became easily available, I decided, if I ever found "the secret" or some answers to this madness (especially for working women whom I identified with), I would not hide it in some obscure little book somewhere that no one had time to read anyway! Money permitting, I would display it on a billboard somewhere, where all could see!
The thought struck me, again, as I awoke with a start, in a bank parking lot, where I had just pulled off to the side (for a moment) to fill out my deposit slip before entering the drive through. My car was still running, checkbook and pen in hand, and on lookers were peering in my windows wondering if they should call 911 for a heart attack victim.
“No,” I laughed, “it’s OK – I just fell asleep!” Insane! I looked at my watch – I had been asleep 20 minutes. Then, I made a mad dash wondering how I would make the deposit and still pick up the kids from their after school activity on time.
Most people today experience limited time, money and some form of stress -- all health busters. It is not just working women who are dealing with the stress and pressures that are depleting their bodies of the nutrition, exercise, meditation time, and sleep needed for good health, but they are certainly near, if not on top, of the list. “What to do about it” remains the quest.
Does this sound like you?
After awaking at 5:30a.m., completing household chores, waking the family, overseeing and facilitating the morning prep. work (including feeding the dog), you deliver everyone to his or her destinations, and you can now go to work (ha, ha) punching the clock at around 8:00a.m. Your lunch break includes, paying bills, answering letters, running errands and reading anything that has to be read. Back to work until 3:00 if you have to pick up the kids, coordinate after school activities and help with homework. Or you pick it all up again at 5:00 as you rush home to start dinner, run more errands, plan for an evening meeting, finish the laundry you started before dawn, etc., etc. It sounds like me, and most of my friends.
Is it any wonder that so many people today are experiencing health issues and believe they are suffering from fibromyalgia -- true chronic fatigue syndrome? Heck, if they are lucky, they are getting four to six hours sleep a night and most are just “pushing on regardless” ignoring all the symptoms that lack of sleep and proper diet are causing. The list includes: fatigue, muscle aches, obesity, headaches, depression, anxiety, type II diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks, etc. The list is long. Your symptoms are real and, if not caused by lack of rest and proper diet, they are certainly aggravated by it!
Once again, this site is not a medical site! This health site is simply my answer to that billboard idea conceived in a bank parking lot back in the early 90’s. The Internet today makes available to most people, at little or no additional cost, information that is faster and easier to find, it can be accessed almost any time of day, and it reaches a very wide scope of working people.
True, it has taken me more than 10 years to find and test some of the health information herein, and another incident of (no kidding) falling asleep in front of a police officer at a red light to bring it about -- (I just closed my eyes for a moment when I heard a horn blast. I opened my eyes and all the traffic in front of me had proceeded far down the road. A quick glance in the rear view mirror showed “the long arm of the law” impatiently waiting for me to go. I can’t believe he didn’t pull me over. Scary!) – Chronic Fatigue – Sometimes I think I could be the poster child.
“No,” some doctors say – “there is no such thing!” “It is all in your mind,” says family and friends. But, after falling asleep while driving, I firmly decided to find some answers and help myself -- not only for fatigue, but to the other related health issues and symptoms as well. Anger and frustration, caused by the next incident also played a part – I was determined to use anger positively, converting it to determination and action.
Another Example
While working in the construction industry, where workers sometimes show prison inmate cards for identification documentation (trust me, they could get something else – some just like to intimidate), I observed a recently released prison inmate, who had served at least a year behind bars. He was in great physical shape – a physical condition which would shame most gym fanatics -- and that was the least of the gifts he received while incarcerated with three square meals a day, medical and dental care paid, library/computer/reading time, TV, state-of-the-art gym...rehabilitation. While I know this is not always the case, his health and circumstances were better than every other working person’s circumstances that I came in contact with for the rest of that day. This reaffirmed my commitment to share any information I could find with others too busy to find it for themselves. Life should reward the right kind of behaviors!
Struggle and health issues? I’ve been there and done that, and even though I am still coping with real life today, I have truly found relief for so many symptoms and have had so much success in weight loss recently that people are noticing and are asking me about it. (A pound a week for 25 weeks – compared to the first 10-pound reduction that took two years, blood, sweat and tears, and a $6,000 tubal surgery -- necessary to stop taking weight-adding hormones.)
It feels great! Like being pulled from quicksand and able to fly! I like being mistaken for my daughters’ sister! It is a wonderful feeling to have sufficient health and energy to complete tasks -- things that used to be physically difficult seem easier now. And the best part is the added endurance -- it allows me to keep going when having fun.
Sadly, I have not always been able to make copies and deliver information to people that have asked me to share it with them. So, when asked about forming a website, I thought, "a quick reference to a web site might be more efficient." If this information can help more people through cyber connections – I am grateful to SBI for making that possible with an easy to follow, user-friendly program for starting websites – one that will pay for itself with no cost to the reader! If you are struggling with money issues, too:
This is a link to learn more about this unique method of sharing common interests, goals, and/or hobby fun with others while earing enough to cover any costs. SBI gives you More!
Finally, And Most Importantly:
If the health information I have gathered can help even one struggling person have hope, feel a little better, or lose a little of the unwanted weight that is holding them back, it will be worth the effort. In lieu of that, or in addition to, I’d just like to applaud the reader's efforts while encouraging everyone to seek all the information and inspiration they can get. Then, please, I implore you, share that information and encouragement you have found with others!
Again, use caution, I am not “prescribing” any of these methods, health tips, or suggestions without advising you to first think, learn more, and ask your doctor before trying them. I’m not a medical expert or authority – I’m just sharing health hints and what have worked for me, and encouraging you to “never give up!” Strive for balanced health.
